Soprano in Tunbridge Wells

Calamares tapas.

Tunbridge WellsRestaurants

Popular tapas bar in the ‘old’ high street (Pantiles end of T Wells). Modern decor with leather club-style seating – with 2 outdoor tables squeezed onto the pavement. Tables are a little on the small side and can get crowded as the tapas arrives. Try and get one of the 2 window tables if poss so you can watch the world go by while enjoying a leisurely lunch. The dishes are always fresh and authentic – you’ll find all your favourites (serrano ham, ham croquettes, meatballs, patatas bravas, garlic prawns and more) on the menu plus an occasional ‘new’ dish to whet your interest – we had lemon and garlic chicken wings which were excellent. Service is attentive and prices average so expect to pay £30 – £40 for a lunch for 2 with wine.
